How It Started
Wes Kitts is the owner, creator, and head coach behind Be Somebody Gym and Be Somebody Performance. A lifelong athlete, he played Division 1 football before fully committing to Olympic weightlifting, eventually representing Team USA on the Olympic stage.
But long before that, his journey started with his dad, who taught him to work hard, compete, and always strive to be better.
That mindset carried him through every stage of his life, and today, it’s the same standard he brings into this gym every day. His coaching is built on real experience, high-level training, and the belief that if you stay consistent and put in the work, you can go further than you think.

What Is H.I.I.T. Training?
H.I.I.T. training at Be Somebody Gym combines strength training, conditioning, and functional movements into one structured workout.
Each session is designed to improve overall fitness through a mix of weightlifting, cardio, and bodyweight movements. Workouts change daily, keeping things challenging and helping you continue to progress.
It’s built to improve strength, endurance, and real-world fitness—all in a high-energy, coached group setting.
What Is Included In Weightlifting Training?
Our weightlifting program is built for anyone looking to develop strength, technique, and performance.
You’ll train in a 3,000 sq ft weightlifting space designed by Olympian Wes Kitts, alongside athletes of all levels—from beginners to competitors.
Coaching focuses on the Olympic lifts, the snatch and clean and jerk, while also developing strength, speed, and proper technique. Whether you’re training for competition or just want to get stronger, you’ll have the structure and coaching to improve.
What Is Burn 30?
Burn 30 is a fast-paced, 30-minute workout designed to maximize results in minimal time.
These sessions use interval-style training to improve strength and conditioning while keeping workouts simple and effective. It’s built for all fitness levels and is a great option for anyone looking to get a high-quality workout without spending hours in the gym.
Do You Offer Open Gym Or Classes?
We offer both.
You can join coached classes for structure and guidance or use open gym time to train on your own schedule.
